The eleven day pack trip is an odyssey into the powerful mountain ranges of Montana’s back country. It is the proving ground of each student’s relationship with their horse and classmates, made more with the addition of a pack mule. The mule will carry the necessary gear to complete this quest. Each participant learns that the horse and mule are their lifeline and must come first at all times. The pack trip with all its hardships and celebrations is a direct reflection of life’s great journey.
